Terms of Service

These apply to the website. Work we do for you is covered separately, in your client engagement letter. Both should be read together.

Applies to Prime Key Wills and Trusts Ltd. Draft pending solicitor review before publication.

01: Scope

About these terms

These terms cover your use of the Prime Key Wills and Trusts website. Separate written terms apply once you instruct us to do a piece of work — they will be sent to you as part of your client engagement letter and should be read together with this page.

If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use the site. We may update them from time to time; the version in force at any moment is the one published here.

02: What we do and do not do

Our services

We draft wills, set up trusts, prepare Lasting Powers of Attorney, and assist with probate and inheritance tax returns. Scope varies per matter and is set out in your engagement letter.

We are not solicitors and we do not provide regulated financial advice. Will writing and estate planning in England & Wales are not reserved legal activities and are not regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority.

For contentious probate, cross-border estates, or tax planning that goes beyond straightforward IHT support, we will refer you to a qualified solicitor or tax adviser.

03: Your responsibilities

What we ask of you

Please give us accurate and complete information. A will or LPA drafted on wrong facts is worse than no document at all.

Please tell us promptly about material changes in your circumstances — a marriage, divorce, birth, new property, or a falling-out you would want reflected.

You must not use the site to upload anything unlawful or to probe our systems for weaknesses.

04: Data protection

Your data

We handle personal data in line with the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. Our Privacy Policy sets out the detail.

To ask about the data we hold or to exercise your rights, write to hello@primekeywillsandtrusts.co.uk.

05: Intellectual property

Copyright

The text, design, and imagery on this site belong to Prime Key Wills and Trusts Ltd or its licensors. You are welcome to read and print pages for personal use.

Please do not reproduce or republish content elsewhere without asking. We almost always say yes to fair requests.

06: Liability

Limits of liability

The general information on this site is exactly that — general. It is not advice for your specific situation. We take reasonable care to keep it accurate, but we do not warrant completeness or fitness for a particular purpose.

To the extent the law allows, we limit our liability for indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from use of the site. Formal engagements are separately governed by your client letter, which sets out the liability framework for that work.

Nothing here excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be excluded by law.

07: Complaints

If something goes wrong

Tell us first. Our Complaints page sets out how. We acknowledge complaints within five working days and aim to give a final response within eight weeks.

If we cannot resolve it between us, you can escalate to our professional body's complaints scheme (details will be on the Complaints page once membership is confirmed).

These terms are governed by the laws of England & Wales. The courts of England & Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
